On to our next stop… Balatoc Mines Tour

We took another cab from Tma-awan Village to Burham Park. The Caviteño taxi driver told us to take jeepney bound for Acupan. He said that we just have to tell the driver that we are bound to Balatoc Mine for a tour. And so… that’s what we did.

It took us 40 minutes to reach the mining corporation. A guard from the main gate will ask you what your purpose is. Ive read from a blog that we should say we’re there for a tour. The guard then opened the gate and gave us the direction to the tour office where we have to register.

The guide gave us the gears that we should wear (helmet and a pair of boots) and a quick introduction on what’s gonna happen inside the tunnel
